Description
These strong reusable washing up sponges are made from certified organic cotton (GOTS) on one side and certified (GRS) pre-consumer recycled tough linen on the other. It’s padded but soft and flexible enough to use on all shapes of crockery. The convenient size also makes it easy to use as there is plenty to hold on to. Some other unsponges we have tried are a bit too small and tough, but this one is flexible and large enough to use with ease. It also works perfectly with our solid dish washing soap bars.
This one comes in a natural unbleached white colour, perfect for the zero waste kitchen.
It’s durable and will last depending on use, but it’s most likely to last around 6 months or more. You can wash it in the washing machine too. Once it reaches the end of its life you can cut it into small pieces and compost it, or if you do have to throw it away you know that it will do no harm to the environment as it’s fully biodegradable.
